Financing

If you don’t already have a preferred lender, we can provide several options to choose from. We work closely with our lenders throughout the process to bring you the best possible service.

Should I get Pre-Qualified before looking at homes?

The answer is YES! You MUST get pre-qualified FIRST!!!

1. Getting pre-qualified serves as first step in the loan application process. It also allows your agent to narrow the search and specify a maximum purchase price. The lender will need to receive details about your income, credit, assets and debts to provide an estimate of how much you can afford. The process shouldn’t take much time and it’s free.

2. Even though a “pre-qual” is not the same as a “pre-approval” in that the lender does not receive specific documentation from you (bank statements, pay stubs, credit check), it provides a clear picture to sellers of your ability to follow through and purchase their property.

3. Sellers won’t even review and offer and will NEVER accept it without a pre-approval. They do not consider you a serious buyer unless your offer is accompanied by a pre-qual letter from your preferred lender.
